4 eggs 1 c water 1 c flour Beat eggs with wire whisk until foamy. Slowly beat in water, then slowly beat in flour until blended and smooth. DO NOT OVER BEAT. I discovered 20 years ago when we lived in Maine and had a large pie pumpkin patch. 1 pkg spice cake 1/2 c butter, melted 3 eggs 1 c pumpkin 1/2 c sugar dash of salt Reserve 2/3 cup dry cake mix.
