Ingredients
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp orange liqueur
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 8-10½ inch slices challah bread
Instructions
  1. In a shallow mixing bowl beat together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, orange liqueur, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Dip challah bread into egg mixture, letting it soak about 10 seconds on each side.
  2. In a skillet or on griddle, melt 1 Tbsp of butter over medium heat; cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining bread slices.
