I discovered 20 years ago when we lived in Maine and had a large pie pumpkin patch. 1 pkg spice cake 1/2 c butter, melted 3 eggs 1 c pumpkin 1/2 c sugar dash of salt Reserve 2/3 cup dry cake mix. If it was summer, BBQ chicken was on the menu most weekends, either at the local volunteer fire department, church or at home.
