No Bake Cookies

November 27, 2012 by mom

Everybody’s favorite: no bake cookies. The even have a favorite story to go with them.

My son (in his late 20’s at the time) called and asked for the recipe for no bake cookies. He said (and I’m totally serious) “How long do you put them in the over for?” My response was something along the lines of “Um, there is a reason they are called ‘no bake cookies’.”

Son said “But you always put them in the oven”. Yes, I did. That was to hide them from the kids while they cooled.
