French Toast
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp orange liqueur
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 8-10½ inch slices challah bread
- In a shallow mixing bowl beat together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, orange liqueur, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Dip challah bread into egg mixture, letting it soak about 10 seconds on each side.
- In a skillet or on griddle, melt 1 Tbsp of butter over medium heat; cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining bread slices.
